Sim City 2013

As far as I remember, a computers to me in 2001 is synonymous to playing The Sims-- then from then, I discovered Sim City 3000. I liked running cities as much as building houses and manipulating a sim's life. Fast forward to 2013, I still find myself playing Sim City, but now Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition. I've had encountered heaps of trouble by installing dodgy mods, so it meant I had to reinstall my beloved game. It also meant that I had to let go of the beautiful metropolis I've created. I remember when there was a time that I would play the game first thing in the morning and play all day long, literally.

I love this game as it makes my imaginations blow like crazy. I like history, and I love to make stories in my head how the city was founded and progressed.

I always make townships in my region, connecting them as if they were not subdivided into boring squares. I would establish a proper and working transport system and zoning that makes my city a possible megatropolis.

Not long ago, I've seen a post from a friend on Facebook, saying he's pre-ordered a copy of the game. I didn't pay much attention as I've seen how frustrating the Sim City 5 (Sim City Societies) was. I watched the game play and I loved it! It's actually so much better than my Sim City 4!

With this upcoming game, it's so much more realistic and it actually is better! The graphics look very smooth and I'm not used to it as I was used to a pixely Sim City 4. It's so much similar to establishing a city in real-life where pipes are under the roads and water towers needs to be placed near a ground with water! I super love it and can't wait to play it myself! (The gameplay demo has 'not actual program' saying on it-- so it should be better!)

I have always tried forcing to make theme cities on my Sim City 4, but sometimes it doesn't really cooperate, so now I think this is the chance! EA, I love you!

...Waiting for a year before getting the new Sim City... True love can wait. (By then, no more bugs and mods are plenty)
